SERMON ON THE MOUNT

1. Blessed are the poor in spirit; (3)
   Their is the kingdom of God.

Refrain: On that mountain,
              Jesus talking with us;
              On that mountain,
              Jesus walking with us;
              On that mountain, halleluia!
              Halle, – halleluia.
              Sing out all you children of the Lord.

2. Blessed is the man who is humble; (3)
   he’ll win possession of the land.
3. Blessed are the ones now in mourning (3)
   they’ll have their comfort one day.
4. Blessed all who thirst for justice, (3)
   for they will soon be satisfied.
5. Blessed is the man of mercy; (3)
   he will have mercy in his turn.
6. Blessed are the clean of heart; (3)
   they will see the face of the Lord.
7. Blessed are the peacemakers; (3)
   they are the children of their God.
8. Blessed are the sons of justice; (3)
   theirs is the kingdom of the Lord.
