Refrain: Men and angels, sing in chorus
And adoring bend the knee!
Praise our God whom here before
In the sacred host we adore.
- Sing with joy the Saviour’s glory
Of his flesh the myst❜ry sing;
Of the blood all price exceeding,
Shed by our immortal King. - On the night of his last supper.
Seated with his chosen band,
He as food to all his brethren
Gave himself with his own hand. - While we bow in adoration,
Let our hearts his gift revere;
Faith its aid to vision lending.
Tells that he unseen is here.
I knew an alternate version of this where the last line was “in the Sacred Host we see” and the previous line rhymed with “chorus”.
That’s the old version, I guess. Thanks for the feedback
